Before I get the 10,000 posts asking where the fuck it is now.... its across the street from the old venue. Just look around stupid. :) I kid. You look pretty. Seriously, its across the street.

The way an open mic works is comedians test new jokes at it, or new comedians see if they have what it takes to tell some jokes. Open mics don't guarantee the most professional shows, but they are DEFINITELY the most unpredictable. Its free to sign up (no pay to plays here!) but space is limited. First timers encouraged! Post on this page to sign up for open mic, slots are still available. Anyone can sign up. Length of time is discussed with the host at the event.

Open Micers are expected to repost this event page and help bring some people the event, so are features comedians.

Only open mic rules:
A) open mic comedians that show up late are NOT guaranteed stage time.
B) first timers that haven't been to the room or haven't been spoke with the host get 5 minutes of stage time. Run over and you may be denied time in the future.
C) If you don't end after the host gives you the light you may be denied stage time later.
D) comics that spend the bulk of their time outside smoking and talking bringing audience down with them may may be denied later time and may be denied time that night.
E) Just showing up does not guarantee stage time. Thats what the FB page is for, so you can tell your friends and get more people in the room.
F) If you go racist, you go off stage. Only thing that bothers me. RACIAL material fine. RACIST material no bueno.

REMINDER, SPACE LIMITED ON OPEN MIC AND THE MORE PEOPLE YOU BRING IS THE BETTER BILLING YOU GET! Which means if want a slot, how many can ya bring??

Description: Every Monday except June 18th (because of Nikki Glaser show at Preservation Pub) and Labor Day KnoxComedy.com has an open invite stand-up/improv/sketch comedy open-mic at The Well (formerly 4620).
