The Breakdown

The Blackstone Winemakers Select Merlot is another very high scoring Blackstone wine. It’s a beautifully deep violet colored wine with a lush full body. Breathe it in and be overwhelmed by a spectrum of bright raspberries, plum, cherry and blackberry.  It has a very complex, round middle and long finish.  This wine is very satisfying with bold fruit forward flavors without being overly sweet in the least.

This is a fantastic food pairing wine pairing wonderfully with lamb, roast chicken, or old flip flops…or hidden in a juice box at a soccer game to somehow tolerate the conversations.  In short this wine is wonderful.
