Wine Reviews – Earthquake Petit Sirah

Lobster Rolls

The Breakdown

I absolutely love the bottle/label design of this wine.  Then when you pour it and notice that the darkness of the wine matches the label. This pitch black Petite Sirah hailing from the wonderful Lodi region of California has a rich blackberry, licorice and vanilla bouquet. It’s very full bodied with a rich flavor profile of tasty red raspberry, blackberry, coloa and oak.  Even with the fruity notes it has a very dry prolonged finish.

It’s dark color invites with a wonderfully inviting deep violet scent turns bitter dark chocolate and dark blackberry on the palate.  It pairs wonderfully with any beef and strong flavored cheeses.
