Wine Reviews – Sobon Estates Zinfandel

Lobster Rolls

The Breakdown

Established as winemakers in the Amador County in 1977 the Sobon Family is known for standout wines and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s ripe, full-bodied and very dry. This is definitely one of those wines that gets you in your jaw but if you like dry this is the wine for you. It has a hint of white and black pepper but also has a juicy palate of blackberry and cedar.  It’s is a wine to be savored because it will leavin a soft tannin coating in your mouth.

This wine would pair excellently with smoked meats and cheese. It also would be really great with a big steak. .
