The Breakdown

Justin has a very simple and elegant bottle design that is perfectly reflected by the wine itself. Many Justin wines tend to be very juicy and fruit forward. This Cabernet is no different but it has a freshness that sets it apart.  It’s  a medium bodied Cabernet with herbal accents that are somewhat uncharacteristic for a Cabernet.  It has very subtle notes of bright strawberry, cranberry, and raspberry to give a rich fruit forward flavor.  This nature is combined with rose petals, basil and yes…mint.

The symphony of those flavors creates a complex but smooth wine that is remarkably easy to drink.  It has a dry finish but not so much as to make your jaw tingle. This is a perfect wine to pair with a nice pasta with meat sauce, or lasagna.
